Get in Touch for Quilting Advice and Creative Partnerships
Have a quilting question, a collaboration idea, or feedback for the Fussy Cutters Club? Send us a note and we’ll point you in the right direction.
We're Always Happy to Talk Quilting
Some messages arrive with a single photo and one honest question: “Is this motif worth cutting around?” Those are welcome here.
The Fussy Cutters Club is built for quilters who like looking closely at fabric, testing layout ideas, and sharing the small decisions that make a block feel intentional. If you are working through a fussy cutting choice, planning an English paper piecing project, preparing a community swap, or trying to track down the right article on the site, you can get in touch.
We read messages with the same care we bring to a cutting mat. The more specific your question is, the easier it is to give a useful reply. A note that says “I’m using a large-scale floral in a hexagon block and I’m unsure where to center the print” gives us something to work with.

Collaborations, Press & Podcast Guests
Good collaborations usually start with a shared eye for detail. That might mean a fabric designer talking through scale and repeat, a quilt teacher explaining how students approach directional prints, or a maker sharing the story behind one carefully planned block.
We are open to creative partnerships that fit the Fussy Cutters Club community. Relevant ideas include guest articles, podcast conversations, educational resources, fabric-focused tutorials, swap support, and thoughtful brand partnerships connected to quilting, sewing, or textile design.
Press and media
Journalists, editors, and producers can email with interview requests, background questions, or requests for comment on fussy cutting, English paper piecing, and quilting culture.
Podcast guests
If you are a maker, designer, teacher, shop owner, or organizer with a clear quilting story, send a short introduction and the angle you would like to explore.
Partnership ideas
Partnerships work best when they help readers make better fabric choices or feel more confident at the sewing table. Tell us who the project serves and what you hope to create.
A practical pitch beats a polished one. Include the project name, timeline, audience, and any links that show your work. If the idea connects to one of our topic areas, such as Fussy Cutting Techniques or English Paper Piecing, mention that too.
Response Times & Inquiry Scope
We try to answer thoughtful messages as soon as the inbox and project schedule allow. Some questions need a quick pointer. Others need a little time with the details, especially when they involve fabric placement, teaching requests, or a possible partnership.
To keep replies useful, please send one main request per email. If you have several ideas, group them clearly with short headings. Photos can help when you are asking about layout, motif placement, or cutting direction, but please keep attachments relevant.
Questions we can usually help with
- Choosing where to cut a motif for a quilt block.
- Finding a relevant article, tutorial, or podcast topic on the site.
- Suggesting future coverage for quilting techniques or community swaps.
- Discussing press, podcast, or partnership opportunities.
- Sharing feedback about clarity, accessibility, or corrections.
Requests outside our scope
We cannot provide emergency sewing support, appraisals, legal advice, or guaranteed placement for guest content. We also do not publish every pitch we receive. The fit depends on the topic, timing, and whether it genuinely serves quilters in this community.
Still, if you are unsure, write. A friendly, specific email is often the easiest way to sort out the next step.
